Wilders has come under fire for his anti-Islamic views, comparing the Koran to Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” and saying that Muslims should not be allowed to immigrate. Wilders is the leader of the Partij voor de Vrijheid, translated to Party for Freedom, which won four seats during the 2009 European Union Parliament elections and became one of the largest opposition parties in the Netherlands after the 2006 elections.
