A dish to please all ages: Parmesan Chicken
(NC)—Sitting down for a family dinner is a special and meaningful time, especially during the holidays when we get to share memorable moments with loved ones. But a holiday dinner can also be a busy event, especially when trying to find one dish that will satisfy different age groups, varying tastes and those little guests who are often picky in what they choose to eat.
“In order to satisfy everyone, stick to one simple, but delicious dish that you know everyone will love,” says Trish Magwood, award-winning cookbook author of In My Mother’s Kitchen, and mom of three. “Choose a dish that appeals to adults and kids, rather than trying to make numerous dishes. You will be pleasantly surprised to see how much time it saves.”
The following recipe is a favourite with families, is easy to prepare and cooks in no time. Best of all, it uses fridge and pantry staples, including Rice Krispies, that give it that irresistible crunch. For more creative and easy holiday recipes, visit www.ricekrispies.ca.
