Barbra Streisand tours her most famous songs
As she wrapped up her time in Canada in Vancouver at Rogers Arena, Streisand left her fans nothing but satisfied.
It was the multi-talented singer/writer/actor/director’s first time performing in the city, and she left no question that she’s still got it as her voice bellowed out classics such as “Being Good Isn’t Good Enough,” “Nice ‘N Easy/That Face,” “Bewitched (Bothered and Bewildered),” ” The Way We Were,” “Through The Eyes of Love,” “Rose’s Turn,” “Some People,” and “Don’t Rain On My Parade.”
This small tour is serving as a celebration of Streisand’s lifelong love affair with music, as she enters the stage in every city after a video montage of her childhood and early music days plays while the live orchestra plays “You’ll Never Know.”
At 70, her voice hasn’t lost an ounce of its charm or power, and hearing her perform is the ultimate lesson in control and technique.
To join in her retrospective, we’re looking back at her ten most famous tracks:
People
Don’t Rain On My Parade
The Way We Were
Evergreen (A Star Is Born)
Hello Dolly
Have I Stayed Too Long At The Fair?
Cry Me A River
I’m The Greatest Star
