Margaret Thatcher Dies of a Stoke at 87

Margaret Thatcher, the first woman to become British prime minister and known to many as the Iron Lady, has died of a stroke at the age of 87. Her spokesman Tim Bell told Sky News, ““We’ll never see the like of her again. She was one of the great prime ministers of all times. She transformed people’s lives.”

Thatcher was the leader of the Conservative party from 1979 to 1990 and was given the name Iron Lady for her reputation of political and personal resilience. Thatcher is also famous for changing British politics with her strong right-wing views.

After suffering a stroke in 2002, she retired from public life and continued to suffer from a number of strokes.
