The Zoomer Report: Modern Male Poll

Remember all the talk about sensitive new age guys? Well, it seems some, but by no means all aspects of that stereotype have sunk in. A new poll suggests the modern Canadian male lifestyle includes cutting back on calories and fat, but very few men are willing to give up their red meat or try yoga.

And instead of fretting about the hair on their head, more men are worried about pleasing their partners in bed.

The Canadian Press Harris-Decima poll asked Canadian men about some of their lifestyle habits and found that a majority were trying to eat healthier.

Three quarters are trying to eat less fat, two-thirds are watching their salt intake, and more than half are cutting calories.

But only a fraction are vegetarian and only two per cent practise yoga.

Very few of these guys would take something for hair loss, but 14 per cent of those over 50 have taken medication for erectile dysfunction.
