New Survey: Middle Age Starts at 55

We live in a time with education and technology that allows us live longer, more fulfilling lives. It makes sense that a survey of 1,000 U.K. adults aged 50-plus did not consider themselves elderly until pushing 70 years old and marked 55 years as middle age. That is a significant difference from previous studies that have defined 36 as the start of middle age.
