Watermelon Face and Body Polishing Scrub

(NC)—This naturally hydrating polishing scrub will give you glowing skin from head to toe. The combination of healing ingredients will gently exfoliate and moisturize the skin, giving it a polished, healthy look with a subtle fresh fragrance. This recipe is ideal for all skin types.

1 cup (250mL) cubed watermelon flesh

2 tbsp (30mL) Greek yogurt (strained)

1 tbsp (15mL) raw honey

1 tbsp (15mL) coconut oil

1 tsp (5mL) thyme leaves

3 tbsp (45mL) cream of rice cereal

1 cup (250mL) fine cornmeal

In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients, adding enough fine cornmeal to create a smooth paste. Let stand for 20 minutes to thicken. Unused portion may be kept in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

1. Beginning with the face and neck, massage polishing scrub over entire body.

2. Leave on for fifteen minutes.

3. Rinse off with cool water.
