A Day at the Pool/Beach

Ladies, throw on a classically cool linen dress shirt and some loose-fitting trousers or shorts. Tip: go for a longer shirt so that after you take a dip you can throw it on over your swimsuit. Do up a couple buttons in the middle and you have the perfect cover-up! And don’t forget a chic beach bag to complete your look.
Fellows, keeping with the linen theme. Try some light-coloured pants. They will keep you cool until you trade them in for trunks! A colourful dress shirt topped with a nautical blazer will take your look up a few notches. Warning: may cause illusions of owning your own luxury yacht.

Backyard Barbecue

Time to get patriotic! A backyard cookout is all about being comfortable and relaxed, but stylish. Red and white checks scream barbecue.

Fireworks

Leave those hoodies at home. This couple sure has the casual but chic combo on lock! Fellows: a cool blue dress shirt with some khakis or jeans fits the bill. Throw on a blazer in case the temperature takes a drop at night. Ladies, some wide-legged printed pants are uber-comfortable and easy to sit in – but so trendy, too! Don’t forget your jacket either!

Dinner party

Fellows, a beige linen suit is the perfect suit for summer. Keep it simple with a white dress shirt underneath with your top button undone. Ladies, a flowy sheer black dress is easy to throw on and has a certain glam factor that is perfect for dinner plans!
