Positive Economic News from South of the Border

Speaking to a business audience in New Delhi on Monday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said that following a mini-jobs boom in October, “Chances of a double-dip recession look lower than they have been over the last three, six to 12 months.”

The good new was somewhat tempered by Geithner’s concession that parts of the U.S. economy, in particular the real estate market, “still look very tough.”
