Bono’s Share in Facebook: 728 Million

As the saying goes, “It takes money to make money.” U2 frontman Bono purchased 1.5 per cent of Facebook for US$195 million last year as the managing director of the investment firm he cofounded in 2001, Elevation Partners.

His 1.5 percent is now worth a whopping $728 million after Facebook’s value sky rocketed to $50 billion US earlier this month.
