Imagine an 86 acre very private and peaceful waterfront cottage resort, on the edge of Muskoka, just 2 hours North of Toronto. Only 10 Pet Friendly three and four bedroom cottages, a small 7 suite inn and the Grand Muskokan 5 bedroom share the 2,500 feet of frontage on the pristine waters of Otter Lake. Ours is a favorite destination for friends, couples with their pets, family reunions and is the equivalent of the private, well kept and equipped family cottage without the work! We’ve been creating great family memories for 35 years!

Amenities include tennis courts, motor boats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, beach, water trampoline, extensive dock system including private docks at every cottage, mini putt, hiking trails and recreation centre.

Our quaint waterfront inn has only 7 suites which makes a stay there very private. All suites are non smoking and pet free. There are three second story walkup Junior Suites. These hotel style efficiency rooms have full kitchens, full baths, air conditioning, dining table, queen bed, satellite tv/dvd, wireless internet and balcony overlooking the lake. All are fully equipped with all linens, pots and pans, plates, cutlery, cups, etc.

The Blue Heron Suite is a walkup unit on the second floor. This is actually two Junior Suites combined. In the Bedroom, there are two queen beds, full bathroom, fireplace and sitting area. In the main room, there is a sleeper sofa, satellite tv/dvd, full kitchen, second full bathroom, second fireplace, air conditioning, dining table for 4 and balcony overlooking the lake.

Our waterfront inn has two very large two bedroom suites, the Seguin and Rosseau located right at the point of the lake. In the Rosseau, the larger bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two singles. There is full bathroom, full kitchen, dining table for 6, large living room with wood stove and sleeper sofa and satellite tv/dvd. This is a main floor unit with no steps in. It has a walkout to a private patio with a gas bbq off the living room. The Seguin has a queen bedroom and the second bedroom has a queen bed and a loft single suitable for a child. There is full bathroom, full kitchen, dining table for 6, large living room with wood stove and sleeper sofa and satellite tv/dvd and air conditioning. There is another room off the living room, the muskoka room with windows on all 3 exterior walls

Our closest town is Parry Sound, a bustling northern Ontario tourist destination with attractions like the new world class Charles W. Stockey Centre for Performing Arts, Island Queen Boat Cruise, Bobby Orr Museum, Golf and a multitude of restaurants and fun downtown shopping area and waterfront.

Just take Hwy 400 all the way to exit 213 (Rankin Lake Rd. / Hwy 69) and follow the signs.
