Hulk Hogan Sues Wife in Latest Legal Battle

For over 30 years Hulk Hogan engaged in some of professional wrestling’s most epic battles. But of all the foes Hogan has “run wild” on over the years, there’s one opponent he just can’t seem to put down for the count: his ex-wife.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, filed suit against his ex-wife Linda Bollea for defamation related to claims she made about him in her book, Wrestling the Hulk – My Life Against the Ropes, and in the media.

Linda Bollea claims that the 58-year-old wrestler abused her to the point she worried he may take her life. She also claims that Bollea engaged in homosexual activities with one of his closest friends, pro wrestler Ed Leslie, more commonly known as Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

“Miss Bollea’s made enough of these outrageous allegations” Wil Florin, Terry Bollea’s attorney, told St. Petersburg Times.  “The only realistic way of making them stop is through the court system.”

This latest lawsuit, just one in an ongoing series of legal battles between the former couple, comes only weeks after details of their divorce settlement were reported by the St. Petersburg Times that showed Linda Bollea received over 70 per cent of the couple’s $10 million in cash and investments, as well as partial ownership of Terry Bollea’s companies.
