GRACE: A MEMOIR By Grace Coddington

It’s no surprise that Coddington’s memoir is as stylish as she is. The former sixties model, and longtime creative director of U.S. Vogue, is known for her artistic flair. From the tangerine cover, to the pen and ink illustrations found through the narrative, this tome makes a gorgeous addition to any shelf.

But don’t think its merits are found only in the presentation. Coddington, who came to the public’s attention in R. J. Cutler’s documentary about Vogue, “The September Issue,” charms the reader with her frankness and wit as she leads them through her private life and her fascinating career, working with with designers, models, photographers, celebrities and the indomitable Anna Wintour.
