Portrait of a Queen
Zoomer | April 27th, 2010
Rupert Alexander became the youngest artist to paint the Queen’s portrait. The 35-year-old painter was given three sittings over 18 months to capture Her Highness’s likeness. The result will be unveiled soon in London. Alexander was only 23 when he was commissioned to paint Prince Charles and the Duke of Edinburgh. Click here to see all three portraits.
