Besse Cooper of Georgia Named World’s Oldest Human

At 114-years-old, great-grandmother Besse Cooper has been named the world’s oldest human by the Guinness World Records. Born Besse Brown in Sullivan County, Tennessee on August 26, 1896, she is the last of eight children. She has four children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Cooper, credits her longevity to minding her own business and avoiding junk food.
