Kate and William Continue to Soar in Popularity

Since the moment William popped the question to longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton a year ago, their fan base has exploded. Reports suggest that, in the space of that time, William and Kate  received approximately 60,000 letters and cards from well-wishers. As would be expected, the level of mail experienced a surge around the time of the wedding this past April. Workers in the St. James Palace are still sorting through the large accumulation of fan mail, but they reassure senders: “It will take quite a while for the small team to get to answer them all, but everyone gets a reply if there is a return address.”
