Prince William returns to work

Britain’s Prince William has returned to work.
The 33-year-old royal – the grandson of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – crawled onto his hands and knees as he inspected a helicopter at the East Anglian Air Ambulance base in east England this morning (23.03.16) as he clocked on duty as a pilot for the first time since mid-February.
The Prince has come under fire recently for being “work-shy” but, although he hasn’t been flying helicopters for the charity, he has been busy attending official engagements.
Over the past week, William was present at 11 public engagements over just four days, which makes him twice as busy as other members of the royal family.
He was also forced to step in for his wife Duchess Catherine, with whom he has two children George, two, and Charlotte, 10 months, by handing out shamrocks to the troops at the St Patrick’s Day parade in London.
However, prior to that, it’s been claimed the Prince had only carried out three engagements since the start of 2016.
William started working with the East Anglia Air Ambulance last summer after he left the Royal Air Force.
