Still Young at Heart

Forget the word old! Here, a poem from a reader, dedicated to all Zoomer readers.

By Anna Gualandris

Don’t cry over numbers

Don’t cry over wrinkles

Because you are happy and smart

If you still feel young at heart

Don’t beg for compassion

Don’t beg for attention

Don’t show them the sting

Just go, Hon, and swing

Don’t yearn for past beauty

Forget the word “old”

Dress up for a new start

Just feel young at heart

Chase away tears, chase away sorrow

Enjoy whatever is left of tomorrow

Remember you’re beautiful, sexy and young

Life can be a playland with still so much fun

If you think and play smart

And still feel young
