The Isles of Greece: 4 Castles in Nauplia

DAY ELEVEN

Nauplia, our last port before the final stop in Piraeus, has four castles and the city has many vestiges of its Venetian and Ottoman history. We visit Agamemnon’s Mycenae in the morning and while there is a tour to the Theatre of Epidaurus in the afternoon, we opt to wander the streets of Nauplia and shop for handmade sandals along beautiful marble streets. We learn at dinner that Aida, our wine stewardess with the gorgeous smile is leaving tomorrow to return to her native Manila. We hug her warmly and wish her well.
