The Zoomer Report: The Clean 15

We’ve been telling you about this year’s dirty dozen list of fruits and vegetables with the most pesticide residues. Here, on the other hand, is The Clean 15. This list also comes from The Environmental Working Group and it details the fruits and veggies lowest in pesticide, the ones they say are OK to buy conventionally grown, so you can save your organic dollars for the items that have the most pesticide.

The Clean 15 are:
• Onions
• Sweet Corn
• Pineapples
• Avocado
• Cabbage
• Sweet peas
• Asparagus
• Mangoes
• Eggplant
• Kiwi
• Cantaloupe – domestic
• Sweet potatoes
• Grapefruit
• Watermelon
• Mushrooms
