Two-Piece Out, “Grankini” In- Thanks to Helen Mirren

A study in the U.K revealed that 71% of customers between the ages of 50 and 65 admitted to trading in their one-piece for a two-piece.

Bikini sales at British fashion retailer Debenhams have gone up by 118%.

Many customers said older celebrities like Helen Mirren who was photographed looking stunning in her red bikini on her 63rd birthday inspired them.

UK’s Daily Mail is calling this swimsuit craze the “grankini.”
