Don’t overload with bond funds

Such funds are lower risk, but don’t overdo it. Returns on money funds are extremely low and bond funds will be vulnerable to loss when the economy stabilizes and interest rates start to move up again.


As always, a balanced approach is the key to investing success. Choose an asset mix you can live with for the long term and stay with it. Don’t heavily overweight in any one asset class.
