Take the grandkids south for the millennium

The bargains are increasing as the big day approaches Sunquest Vacations and ALBATours are two of many travel companies offering great bargains this winter. Whether they are influenced by reports of a slow travel season this winter or simply want to boost market share, the consumer is the winner in this competitive market. Expect even more sales in the near future, but don’t wait too long to book.

The latest deals announced yesterday offer a good example, with discounted rates and “kids travel free” offers on all-inclusive properties throughout the Caribbean and Mexico.

When a couple books one of the following sale-priced vacations, up to two kids travel free with 2 paying adults. “This is the only time you will ever see kids free at Christmas and New Year’s,” says Jill Wykes, of Sunquest. “For as little as $899 per adult for 7 nights or $599 for 3 or 4 nights, you can now go away at Christmas this year and bring two of your children for free,” she added.

The sale involves a long list of properties, including the Odyssey St.Lucia (formerly Club St. Lucia), Superclubs Puntarena in Varadero, Cuba, the Holiday Inn Sunspree in Jamaica, the Grand Miegas in Acapco, and Coralia Club Bucanero, in Santiago de Cuba. Various departure dates (December through January, 2000) and vacation durations are available. For details, contact CARPTravel.
