On Our Radar: Ski Canada!

The 2010 Condé Nast Travelers’ ski poll is out and it ranks three Canadian winter resort destinations in its Top 20.

Number 1 on the list? Whistler Blackcomb on the west coast of British Columbia, no doubt riding on its post Olympic wave, and well-deservedly so; interior BC’s Sun Peaks Resort and the home of Olympian Nancy Greene ranked a lucky number 13 and Quebec’s Mont Tremblant took 14th spot.

We fared even better on the hospitality side of the things, with our Canadian charm pushing six of our best hotels on to the Top 25 list of Ski Hotels. The Fairmont Chateau Whistler and the Four Seasons Whistler cracked the top 10, ranking number 9 and 10 respectively, while Fairmont’s Chateau Lake Louise came in at number 15, followed by Banff’s Rimrock Resort Hotel at 20th, Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside at 23 and Fairmont Banff Springs rounding out the list at number 25.
