Air France celebrates 50 years in Canada

If you’re one of the many people who have secretly harboured a desire to cross the Atlantic in style (and less than four hours) on the Concorde, your ship (or plane) may have come in. To celebrate its 50th anniversary in Canada, Air France is making an exclusive offer to its “Fréquence Plus” members that gives them an opportunity to enjoy the flight of a lifetime. Air France began its Canada-France service with flights from Montreal way back in 1950.

Travel on Air France from now until March 15, 2000, enter the 50th Anniversary Contest, and you could win a one-week trip for two via the Concorde that’s valued at $30,000. Remember, air fares for the supersonic plane are definitely not cheap! And, with that fast flight, the week in Paris may seem like a week and half, which is definitely not a bad thing.

This dream getaway includes the round trip ticket from Canada to New York, the night preceding the Concorde flight in a New York hotel, six overnights in Paris, and transfers by limousine between the airports and hotels in both New York and Paris. Eligible tickets are Air France round trip transatlantic tickets from Canada only, between January 5 and March 15, 2000.

To paicipate, send a copy of your airline ticket (by mail only) to the following address, before March 31, 2000: Air France / Concours Concorde 2000, Mansfield Street, Suite 1510, Montreal (Québec) H3A 3A3
